There are hundreds of different devices using USB-C (Type C), it is impossible to ensure compatibility with them all as some are simply too outdated.

These are extensively tested to ensure functionality, if yours is not working it is likely not compatible with your device.

We will accept free returns for products with return reason listed incompatible.

Please fell free to let us know what device your have so we can fine tune the compatibility list.

For 4K output your device must be capable of producing 4K and your display must be capable of showing 4K, this device will not make your device 4K by itself.

In most instances this device is Plug and Play

Your device must have a USB-C or Type-C port, not a Mini Displayport.

To use your Kyper USB-C to HDMI adapter, simply connect the USB-C end of the adapter to your device, then connect an HDMI cable to the adapter's HDMI port and the other end of the HDMI cable to your display. If it does not work immediately you will need to turn off both devices and restart.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Identify the Ports:

  • USB-C: This is the smaller, rectangular port on your laptop or device.
  • HDMI: This is the standard rectangular port on your monitor, TV, or projector.

2. Connect the Adapter:

  • Plug the USB-C end of the adapter into the USB-C port of your device.
  • Connect an HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the adapter.
  • Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your display.

3. Power On and Verify:

  • Turn on your device and the display.
  • The display should automatically detect and display the output from your device.
  • If you have any issues, ensure that the cables are securely connected and that your device and display are both powered on.

4. Troubleshooting:

  • No signal: Check that the cables are securely connected, and that your device and display are both powered on.
  • Incorrect resolution: Ensure that the resolution settings on your device are compatible with the display.
  • Audio issues: Some adapters may require a separate audio connection.
  • Basic Tech: Ensure your display is 4K compatible. Ensure your HDMI cable (not included) is marked High Speed and a minimum of 2.0. It is best to use as short as possible HDMI cable, the longer the cable to less reliable the signal. Do not run through a splitter.
